You would smile too, if you had a fretless "horse" bass. My brother, Jerry carved and assembled this for me. Not only is Jerry an incredible artist, he is one of the nicest people I know. I sure am proud to say "He is my Brother!"

The other side...Though these pictures are nice, they just don't do this masterpiece justice. The horse's tongue is hanging out on this side, and it's muscles are straining...Must be seen to be believed.

The tail...This is carved from paduuk. There are no pictures of the headstock, but it features my initials "SRD" in lattice work. Wow!

The back...Fretless maple neck and a strip of birdseye maple running down the center. Notice there is as much detail on the back as the front. Nice!
