Joy’s Jazz Debut went great last night at Marysburg. Joy brought out a good crowd of family, friends and supporters. It was fun playing with Tom West and company, and the band sounded good for our first time playing together. Joy did a great job, and plans are in the works for an upcoming date, so keep on the look out…
Cynthia Johnson (of “Funkytown” fame) came out and sat in with the band as well. She showed off her jazz chops for the people on a swinging “Bye Bye Blackbird”.
Tonight I will be playing with “Starting Point” at Famous Dave’s in Calhoun Square. It is our first time there, so stop out and lend your support to Live Jazz in the Twin Cities!

THIS TOPIC IS VERY GOOD
